This picture has been taken during an evening walk in Budapest, on the Szabadság-bridge. The black ribbons are the remnants of a flash mob, organized by one of the political parties of Hungary. They were protesting against the highly controversial new Media-law (or constitution, or whatever it is officially called). I hate to translate hungarian names to english, because I think it is just not right to do so, but this time I have to, so everyone can understand the symbolism. Szabadság means Freedom...

Yet another blank post for now. I am getting suspicious tough, that I might have taken pictures on the 27th, tough probably with my brother's camera, and that is why I am missing them. I will have to check that with him for sure =)

One of the many difficulities of this project, is that you have to do your best, and take some pictures, even when you are not quite all right. Well, I think that is kind of understandable, that on these occasions, the topic does not appear to be too original, nice, and entertaining in general...

Amongst other thoughtful things, I got the Settlers of Catan for Christmas. I appreciated it very much, since I honestly love this game and I just can not seem to play it enough. During my stay at home, I have played it with my parrents every single evening, so I guess it is worthy for a note here as well =)

My parrents were complaining about not having a camera for a while now, and my brothers and me have decided, that we will dig deep into our pockets this Christmas, and surprise them with a fitting machine. My mother was obviously very delighted about it =)

I have decided to take a couple of night picture while at home, because I just love those, especially in winter-time, with snow covering the streets and the roofs, but I had to stop after a couple of shots taken from this church, because the aforementioned snow suddenly started to came down quite heavily and I was afraid that it can damage my camera.
Anyway, I am not quite sure why exactly did I pick this picture out of all that has been taken. The others had a bit more "realistic" colors, due to slightly different white-balance settings, and they looked pretty cool as well, but somehow this picture raised a warm, nostalgic feeling in me.

Lets just say, that I am a bit of a Lego-fun. I was going to upload a picture of my room at home, just to give you an idea about the extend of my passion, but it turned out to be difficult to take a good shot of the place, and since the lights were not exactly optimal for the task, all my attempts to capture the spirit of the topic ended up pretty badly. Of course I have only realized it later on, so this leaves me with no other options than to present another still life, from the front yard of my recently finished fire-station.

This is going to be a blank post for a while, since this was the first day, when I have not taken any pictures at all. The reason? I had such a nice company, I simply just forgot about the whole thing... I will draw something later on, and update this post with a picture of the drawing. Later on ;)

The caption of day is a nice panorama picture of Løvstakken, from the side of Ulriken on a snowy day. I kind of likes the way it curves, especially with the globe-like scalpture in the center of the picture =)

There had been a long time since the last post, that is for sure. Anyway, I kept taking pictures, during the holidays as well, altough I have to admit, that on two occasions, I have failed miserably. To make up these occasions, I will draw something picturing a moment of the days in question. We will see how it goes!
For now on, I will slowly try to catch up with the posts. Slowly =)
